WELCOME TO OUTCOME MEDICAL ABOUT THE COMPANY

Don Dixson, President of Outcome Medical

Without question, there is more research and innovation going on today regarding how to deal with our current pain epidemic. I am convinced that part of this new frontier in pain will be the increased number of primary care, and other non-pain specialists accepting a greater roll in pain management. The first hurtle that we see with most doctors, is that of getting them to understand that they don’t have to be a board certified pain specialist to have a successful and profitable pain management program in their offices. Our next biggest hurtle is that of convincing the doctors to think outside of the box, or I should say, the prescription pad. I have spent 20 years in the medical market, with the focus on pain. It was my willingness to take the time to meet with lots of different sales people, and listen as they presented their products or services. This is how we got involved in the use of the advanced electrical technologies that proved to be extremely effective for pain and took us away from the prescription pad.

Today we have evolved from a pain clinic that treated pain with non-pain specialist physicians, into a consulting organization, offering our clinically proven protocols and expertise to doctors nationwide. With 21,000 pain patients to each Pain Specialist in the United States, it becomes easy to understand why the primary care and other non-pain specialists should look seriously at adding quality pain management to his or her practice.

Our program includes our protocols and all necessary support material and information to expand the physician’s practice and take advantage of the epidemic of pain in this country.

We are a full service pain management organization, including medical physicians, research scientists, certified billing, coding and compliance personnel, and specialist technicians for technical operations support. Everything necessary to make your medical pain practice a success!

One last note of interest to most doctors about the Outcome Medical clinics; we were located outside of Atlanta, GA, in a smaller community, yet our collections for treating pain were always above $1,000,000 per year. We know how to make pain management a big part of the non-interventional doctor’s bottom line, and a major benefit for the patients who suffer with pain. I can only hope that most doctors appreciate the tremendous opportunity the pain epidemic really is, and are open to embracing treatment protocols which may be outside their current approach to treating the pain patient.
