The research study with sensory nerve root pathology at the LSU Pain Center confirmed the nerve root pathology in a fibromyalgia test group using sensory nerve testing. Our doctors use the same sensory nerve testing technology used in the LSU study.  It is a non-invasive, painless test that designed to identify nerve root pathology in the sensory (feeling) nerves, and if nerve root pathology is confirmed, the treatment focuses on treating the injured nerves, the inflammation, and pain associated with the nerve condition.
